I selected your hotel for a number of specific reasons. Primarily, I wanted to stay somewhere clean, comfortable and safe. Staying in a beautiful environment that I have not cleaned myself is a treat. Your decor is simple and understated, conducive to a restful and peaceful environment. I love your central location. I can walk to attractions, restaurants, gardens, theatres and cafes without the confusion of selecting the right train or bus. And your wifi allows me to stay in contact with my family by Skype. Your reception staff share their expertise and willingly answer the questions I may have while staying in an unfamiliar city.
I love to see that you have implemented measures to be more friendly towards our environment. However, simply reducing towel and linen services doesn''t really convince me of your environmental focus.
Those tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body gel suggest that the environment is not really your strongest priority. Most of these get stowed in luggage anyway. Why not provide pump packs of shampoo and shower gel? And seriously, I don't need combs, toothbrushes and vanity kits provided for me, and especially not every day! If I have forgotten my shower cap or need a button I can ask the assistance of Housekeeping.
If you ask about my reading habits you'll learn that I rarely read the newspaper and I don't need a copy left at my door. I usually pick it up, throw it on the desk and the next day your staff take it away, unread.
Please help me to recycle my rubbish.
And that duvet is perfectly snuggly on a cold winter's night but It makes me cranky to use air-conditioning simply because I am overheated by the bedding. Why don't you have a sheet on my bed? Air conditioning is not good for me or the environment.
I love the service you provide but I believe these simple measures would further endear your hotel not only to me and other guests but also our world.
