Saying hello or g'day, smiling, a friendly wave, offering to help, complimenting or thanking others or just chatting about the weather could be a simple beginning to add cheer to another person's day. There are boundless opportunities! We could start at home, at the school drop off zone, the supermarket checkout, in the line at the bank, on public transport, while waiting at the doctor or dentist, at church. The list goes on. It's just about taking the time to notice and acknowledge others in a friendly manner.
I know I am often so caught up in my own headspace that I don't acknowledge those around me. Without too much effort I could make a point of greeting others while walking or at the supermarket checkout.

Win 4: While creating conversation you're providing a positive example to others, especially children.
Win 5: Happiness is contagious and this is one small way we can contribute to goodwill and happiness in the community.
